Where do you get your crystal?

All our crystal is 100% authentic Swarovski crystal from Austria. Swarovski makes the finest quality leaded crystals available. They have 28 facets and are cut with tremendous precision, creating beautiful prisms and sparkle. We never make any substitutions or compromise on quality. If you purchase an envelope it will come in its original, factory sealed packaging.

How much crystal do I need?

Check out our information page to get an idea about the different sizes and how much crystal you'll need per square inch. Covering something in 5ss (smallest crystal size available) is a pretty different endeavor than 20ss (a larger crystal). We recommend using 12ss and smaller on your cell phone for a professionally finished appearance. If you have any questions about a specific device contact us (link to email) and we will do our best to assist you.

Our kits section was developed to make it easy for you to bling your cell phone, PDA or iPod. Kits provide a selection of 30+ colors, which you can mix or match, and enough stones to cover, half cover or trim your device. The kits are the easiest way to make sure you have everything you need to blingityourself!

Do you need any special skills to bling?

Blinging is simple. It’s just putting crystals down on drops of glue. There are no expensive tools to buy (tweezers and glue are really all you need) or difficult skills to learn. Take a look at our tips and tricks section and see how easy it is to get started! Most people find that they can do a phone in a few evenings.

I want to bling my jeans. Can you help me with that?

Sparkelizing apparel is easier than ever with Swarovski Hot-Fix stones. These high-tech crystal have a heat activated glue on the back that stick onto clothing. No messy glue and the stones are fully washable! With the Kandi-Kane applicator, you can bling your clothing faster than ever before.

Make sure that you wash clothes that have been blinged in cold water and dry them on low heat. Turn garments inside out so that crystals don’t get damaged in the dryer! See our tips and tricks section for more information.

How long does my order take to process?

We process and ship items within 24 hours. The only exception is when we are out of stock on an item. We will be in touch with you if there are any problems on the day we receive your order. Our goal is to make your purchase an excellent experience.

How will my order be sent?

Your order will be sent via USPS unless you specify otherwise. We provide free Priority mail shipping on orders over $50. On orders under $50, we have extremely competitive shippin rates. We also offer Express mail at the clients request. On international orders we offer Global Priority and Global Express. We have no handling fees. Please see our shopping policy for more info.

Why does my credit card statement say 'General Bead'?

The reason for that is because BlingItYourself.com is a subsidiary of General Bead and all of our business is processed and handled by General Bead. This is why if you call us our customer service representative will say 'Hello, General Bead'.

We are an internet-only subsidiary of General Bead. General Bead is a jewelry supply company that has been in business for over thirty years in San Francisco and San Diego.
